Semester drawing to a close
This semester is finally coming to an end. There are only three more weeks until Christmas break and all our women are starting to prepare for the end of the semester and finals week. November 20th was initiation where we had 11 new girls initiated. They have all turned out to be great additions to our chapter, with many of them stepping up to take offices for next semester. We are all very proud of the newest additions to our Delta Gamma family.

Homecoming results
Whew... It was a long week, but it was all worth it.
Overall in homecoming Delta Gamma took 2nd place! As far as the ranking with our pairing Sigma Alpha Epsilon, we got 3rd! Great job to all involved in homecoming. We enjoyed being able to see alumni make it back, along with their involvement in activities.

Recruitment!!!!
Today was the end of recruitment and it went phenomenally. Recruitment would not have been such a success if it would not have been for Miriam McGill, Brittany Parrett, Paige Richards, and Kim Ferson putting so much time and effort into making sure everything ran so smoothly. It was fun to meet all kinds of girls during the recruitment rounds and even see a few alumni come back to participate and hang out. We now have 10 new wonderful girls!!! Each and every one of them has so much to contribute to the chapter and will be great additions.

Kicking Off a New School Year!!
All of the DG's are heading back to Terre Haute and filling up the stairwell--excited to be reunited after a summer apart! This next season is quite a busy, but fun one with the start of school and recruitment approaching. This week, we will help the incoming freshman move-in and are getting a chance to encourage them to go Greek. Its a great way for all of the sororities to meet new women and for the incoming class this fall to see sisterhood before their classes even begin.
In addition to welcoming in our new women, the chapter will welcome back several sisters who have been abroad over the past semester or summer. We had 4 sisters out of the country in Japan, Sweden, Argentina, and Korea. We are all excited to have them back and hear about their adventures abroad!

Anchor Splash & Founders Day!
Gamma Omicron has continued to be busy, and is having a great semester. We had Anchor Splash on March 19th, and had a wonderful turn out with both greek and independent students in attendance from Indiana State and Rose-Hulman. The winners of Anchor Splash over all were the men of Pi Kappa Alpha (Rose Hulman) and the women of Chi Omega from Indiana State. The events included multiple relays, a banner competition, synchronized swimming, and of course the Mr.Anchor Splash competition. Mr. Anchor Splash was awarded to Steven Raschick from Pi Kappa Alpha (ISU), who sported a full back temporary Delta Gamma tattoo! The other contestants were also quite creative and one even awarded roses to the judges as he walked by them during the formal wear competition.
The same weekend, our chapter was also able to celebrate our past, present, and future with Founders Day. We had alumnae from multiple other states, and we were especially excited and blessed to have three of the founding members of the Gamma Omicron present.
In other news, we have been very busy and excelling in intramural sports lately. We are currently participating in soccer (DG and coed), softball (DG and coed), and ultimate Frisbee. We are #1`in both Softball and Ultimate Frisbee, for the sorority roster.
More news to come!

Springing Forward!
Hello everyone,
Our chapter has had quite a busy and productive spring! We have four wonderful new women joining our chapter, and we are quite excited to see what they will bring and what they will experience with us. We also have three sisters who are overseas this summer studying in Sweden, Japan, and Argentina. We have all been excited to follow their adventures abroad by talking to them and seeing all of their pictures.
We are also involved in spring intramurals, practice for the upcoming spring week activities, and preparing for Anchor Splash which will be on March 20th.
