The Year is Winding Down!
Now that the ladies of Gamma Omicron chapter are back in the swing of things after Spring Break, they have been extremely busy! The first weekend back on campus, the girls held their philanthropy event, Anchor Splash, and it was a huge success! Founder's Day was held that same weekend, and they had an amazing turn out. Several alumni attended the event, and they got to interact with the active members. They honored some of their past members, and they pulled off a lovely day. The Gamma Omicron tandem team has been working hard to prepare for the tandem race during Spring Week which will be held on April 16, 2011. They are paired with the stunning men of Pi Kappa Alpha, so the dazzling duo will pedal their hearts out to try for a back-to-back victory! The night of tandem, the ladies will bring out their good looks for their Formal! The current Pi Alpha's are getting closer and closer to initiation, so as you can see, the Delta Gamma girl's of Gamma Omicron chapter still have a fun-filled end to their semester ahead of them!

Recruitment!!!!
Today was the end of recruitment and it went phenomenally. Recruitment would not have been such a success if it would not have been for Miriam McGill, Brittany Parrett, Paige Richards, and Kim Ferson putting so much time and effort into making sure everything ran so smoothly. It was fun to meet all kinds of girls during the recruitment rounds and even see a few alumni come back to participate and hang out. We now have 10 new wonderful girls!!! Each and every one of them has so much to contribute to the chapter and will be great additions.

Kicking Off a New School Year!!
All of the DG's are heading back to Terre Haute and filling up the stairwell--excited to be reunited after a summer apart! This next season is quite a busy, but fun one with the start of school and recruitment approaching. This week, we will help the incoming freshman move-in and are getting a chance to encourage them to go Greek. Its a great way for all of the sororities to meet new women and for the incoming class this fall to see sisterhood before their classes even begin.
In addition to welcoming in our new women, the chapter will welcome back several sisters who have been abroad over the past semester or summer. We had 4 sisters out of the country in Japan, Sweden, Argentina, and Korea. We are all excited to have them back and hear about their adventures abroad!
